Security Officer Full Time

As a Security Officer Full Time in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location as an unarmed patrol officer, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. In this role, you will support a caring culture through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a reliable and innovative environment.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to verify entry permissions for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols and assigned post orders.
- Support day-to-day site operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, while maintaining a visible presence and providing assistance as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
- Be able to lift more than 20 lbs, which is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
