As a Security Officer Facility Access Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control professional at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position calls for strong communication, professionalism, and integrity. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Tue	04:30 PM - 04:30 AM
Sun	04:30 PM - 04:30 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Verify identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation before permitting access to designated areas in accordance with site requirements.
Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs, issue and collect access credentials, and report discrepancies through established channels.
Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter locations, observing for unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
