Security Officer Access Compliance Job in Sunnyvale, Texas

As a Security Guard Full Time Access Compliance in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and provide professional communication to employees, visitors, and drivers. You will help maintain an orderly environment through visible presence, routine checks, and customer-focused service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening visitors, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized personnel and vehicles as required.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, business operations, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or access-control concerns.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control events accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Possess customer service experience, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
