What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to members, guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hospitality and resort-style location.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the property, including entrances, parking areas, clubhouse facilities, recreational amenities, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for members, guests, vendors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and local law enforcement when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
