As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will drive patrol routes and monitor hospital areas, maintaining a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, respond to concerns, and deliver compassionate customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, or maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be able to restrain individuals.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
