As a Security Professional - Campus Patrol - Full Time in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in access control at an educational location, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols throughout the campus, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will also provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and assisting with any concerns that arise. This position is ideal for individuals with at least six months of security-related experience who are comfortable using a computer or tablet. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment within the educational location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, working closely with school staff and Allied Universal management.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to site procedures.
  • Support a welcoming and orderly environment for all individuals at the location by maintaining a professional presence.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
