As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, managing access points, and verifying credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry and security-related incidents. You will be a visible presence throughout the location, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to inquiries and assisting with directions. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the facility to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and identify any unusual activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site-specific procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to address questions or concerns related to access control and security-related matters.
• Support Allied Universal and client leadership by maintaining a professional presence and upholding the standards of the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
