Allied Universal® is hiring a Financial Analyst to be apart of our Events Services division. The Financial Analyst supports the business by analyzing financial data, conducting financial modeling, and providing strategic financial insights to Branch and Functional leaders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage budget preparation, updates, and amendments throughout the fiscal year; ensure compliance with laws and best practices
  • Forecast short- and long-term revenue and expenses; review departmental budgets and recommend adjustments
  • Track KPIs and analyze financial data, including P&Ls, to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Support monthly financial reporting (MFR/MBR), variance analysis, and performance metric delivery to key stakeholders
  • Develop proformas, pricing models, and financials for RFPs, rate negotiations, and business development efforts
  • Conduct post-event audits and provide operational finance support, including expense tracking and cost analysis
  • Lead financial research and benchmarking initiatives to inform strategy and optimize decision-making
  • Deliver ad hoc reporting and insights; support special projects across finance and operations
  • Solid understanding of general ledger principles and experience performing account reconciliations and preparing journal entries
  • Review and verify commission payments
  • Analyze accounts receivable trends and oversee the collections process to support cash flow forecasting and optimize working capital management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related work experience developing financial metrics, reviewing financial statements, or financial models
  • Experience with ERP systems like WinTeam
  • Experience with dashboarding applications such as DOMO or Data visualization
  • Experience with OneStream or similar financial consolidation and reporting platforms is a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Price-to-Earnings (P/E), Venture Capital (VC), Startups and/or Professional services organizations experience
  • Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) experience
