As a Security Professional - Concierge - Afternoon Shift in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Front Desk Security Officer, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment at the location. Your responsibilities include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and assisting with security-related inquiries, all while providing outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.65 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while stationed at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location, verify identification, and assist with visitor management as part of front desk responsibilities.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
