As a Security Officer - Armed Tech in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a leading technology environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry authorized weapons while conducting routine patrols and responding to incidents as needed. You will interact professionally with staff and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $28.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those involving technology and media equipment.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, reporting any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents as needed.
• Assist with emergency response activities according to established protocols for technology and media environments.
• Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and interactions in accordance with company and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a valid Armed Security Professional License for the state of California.
• Must have a valid California Weapons Permit with 9mm caliber endorsement.
• Must have completed a 6-month firearms qualification.
• Must acknowledge and comply with all firearms policies and procedures.
• Must have 1 or more years of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Must possess a valid college degree.
• Must have an Armed Designation as required by the post.
• Must be trained and authorized to use handcuffs, pepper spray, baton, and sidearm as required by the post.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
