Security Officer - Industrial Patrol

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Harrodsburg, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

In this role, you will be responsible for patrolling and monitoring various areas within a manufacturing and industrial setting. As an unarmed patrol officer, your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you maintain visibility and provide exceptional customer service. You will utilize your communication skills to interact with individuals on-site, ensuring a professional and approachable demeanor. This position requires individuals who are 21 years or older and have at least one year of experience in a similar role.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
