Security Officer - Front Desk

As a Security Officer - Front Desk in Katonah, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Front Desk professional in a commercial real estate location, you will be responsible for monitoring the entry area, greeting visitors, and assisting tenants and guests with inquiries. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing excellent customer service and clear communication. You will utilize computer or tablet systems as part of your daily tasks. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, tenants, and staff at the front desk of the commercial real estate location.
• Monitor access to the building, verifying identification and logging visitors as required by site-specific policies.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate with building management and emergency services when appropriate, following established procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information about the location.
• Support the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter unauthorized access or activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• New York Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
