As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrols in Morrisville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech and media location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals on site. You will interact with employees, visitors, and vendors, addressing their concerns and assisting with any security-related needs. This position values your ability to communicate clearly and use technology such as alarm panels and tablets. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology and media location, including the business interior and perimeter areas.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Support a secure environment by maintaining a visible presence and helping to deter potential risks or unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
