Our canine group, under Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services, is hiring an Account Manager - SIF. The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day security operations at a high profile customer site, ensuring the site is provided with high-quality security services to protect both people and property. The Account Manager role involves managing a team of CCTV Room Operatives, coordinating necessary support services, handling escalated security issues, and ensuring compliance with client contractual requirements. The Account Manager will also work closely with clients to assess satisfaction and address any areas of concern while providing leadership and guidance to security personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the day-to-day security operations of a high profile customer site, ensuring high-quality security services to protect people and property; develop and implement guidance materials and site security orders; ensure compliance with statement of work
  • Manage and lead a team of CCTV Room Operatives, providing coaching, development, and support to ensure optimal performance; responsible for the selection and placement of employees as well as designing performance improvement plans
  • Work directly with clients to meet contract obligations, assess client satisfaction, address areas of concern, and implement corrective actions when necessary
  • Coordinate necessary support services to meet or exceed operational goals, ensuring quality customer service and efficient operations
  • Ensure all required reporting and contractual compliance requirements are met, maintaining documentation and reports for client and internal review
  • Handle escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately and in a timely manner, ensuring minimal impact on operations
  • Manage multiple priorities, complex situations, and diverse team and client requirements on an ongoing basis
  • Reconcile security logs against shift responsibilities and patrols; review and approve incident reports prior to submission to clients. Coordinate preliminary investigations when appropriate
  • Provide input into the development of employee standards of performance and conduct, as well as post standard operating procedures to improve operational efficiency
  • Coach, discipline, and provide balanced feedback to security personnel as appropriate; meet with employees personally, document coaching sessions, and implement disciplinary actions when needed
  • Perform other management responsibilities as determined by the client or VP of Operations to support operational goals and meet security needs

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, security license and/or other licensing and credentialing as required
  • Possession of NYC Unrestricted Firearm Carry Permit
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience with civilian law enforcement or military branch
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as in a protective service supervisory/management role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to balance multiple competing tasks in a time compressed environment while generating quality results
  • Strong understanding of security operations and procedures
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and coaching a team
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members
  • In-depth knowledge of security technology, including CCTV systems
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in emergency or high-pressure situations
  • Ability to manage and respond to client concerns, ensuring satisfaction and compliance
  • Ability to develop and implement operational procedures and standards of performance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
  • Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, business administration or related studies

Pay $85K - $95K per year
