Hourly pay rate $38 to $40

Our canine group, under Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services, is hiring a SmartTech Field Trainer. The SmartTech Trainer is responsible for delivering all MSA SmartTech presentations regarding screener training, x-ray interpretation and any other related courses. The SmartTech Trainer may expect national and internationally up to 30% and may be required to respond to occasional short notice travel requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct field training at the client sites
  • Conduct SmartTech presentations to clients/potential clients
  • Communications with the SmartTech Project Manager for all assignments
  • Coordinate onsite deliveries with the client
  • Coordinate with the SmartTech training curriculum writer to update all training products annually
  • Perform client visits and assessments of client screening programs making recommendations to the client for processes and training
  • Provide detailed training reports to clients including recommendations to clients for future and ongoing training needs

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of the FBI Hazardous Devices School
  • Current or former civilian Bomb Technician experience
  • Professional experience in screening and x-ray interpretation
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to work Independently with little to no direct supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple completing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
  • Ability to maintain correspondence discussions, and materials in strict discretion
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients
  • Attention to detail while adhering to multiple deadlines, able to apply sound logic and judgement, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Qualified instructor with Method of Instruction or equivalent certification
  • Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement and/or military
  • Experience in security operations or other functions of security industry
  • Comprehensive knowledge of improvised explosive devices, CBRN, radiography, IED response using X-Ray and mail or passenger screening using cabinet x-ray
  • High degree of proficiency using online software applications such as ZipGrade and Safety Culture iAuditor for quality control and testing for other bomb technicians
