Security Officer Trainer - Multi Location

Hourly Pay Rate: $23.00

Mon-Thurs 7am-5pm with a later holdover on Wednesdays.

Allied Universal is seeking a State of Florida 'DI' licensed Security instructor who also holds a CPR instructor certification to conduct the 'D' license class and CPR class for new employees at our Fort Myers and Sarasota branch offices. There is already an established syllabus that will be provided for instruction.

The classes are held at the branches on alternating weeks.

Job Duties:

Deliver region training programs in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, Allied Universal standards, and contractual requirements

· Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers (Operations and Training Leadership at all levels, and Security Professionals), and external clients

o Mobility Devices (e.g., vehicles, bicycle, golf cart, Segway)

o Field training for Security Professionals and Supervisors

· Conduct special projects on an as-needed basis to support the region

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• • • High school diploma or equivalent

      · Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary state or federal licensing requirements

      · Where firearms instruction is required, must be able to obtain Pistol Instructor certification within 90 days of placement

      · Must possess a valid driver’s license if driving a company-owned vehicle

      Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:

      · Minimum of three (3) years of classroom instructor experience

      · Knowledge of and experience with customer service and relations

      · Proven experience with personnel supervision and management

    • · Attend Workforce Management (WFM) or other Operations meetings to communicate region, branch or site metrics using DOMO business intelligence for Academy compliance, federal/state/local training compliance, Mobile Patrol, and additional training topics

      · Send weekly reports on Academy completions (SP, SS and SM) as well as any upcoming vILT courses on the National Training Calendar. This includes armed compliance, mobile patrol, and use of force cards

      · Perform training as necessary, develop training programs as needed to address any performance deficiencies

      · Identify, vet, and establish relationships with local training academies for support when required

      · Deliver fire safety services (occupant, floor warden, and staff presentations; and evacuation drills), and other contracted or agreed upon services such as workplace violence/active shooter training

      · Conduct training:

      o CPR/First Aid/Automated External Defibrillator (AED)-

      o Defensive Tactics (e.g., handcuffs, pepper spray, batons, Tasers, firearms)
