As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Site - Full Time in Prosperity, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in access control operations. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible to provide a reassuring presence and deliver exceptional customer service to all personnel and visitors. This position offers the opportunity to utilize your experience with alarm panels and badge systems, while also developing strong communication skills in a dynamic environment. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with security-related inquiries and site-specific procedures.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific emergency procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
