Security Professional – Armed Government

As a Security Professional – Armed Government in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This armed post involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Your role will contribute to a secure environment through teamwork and a caring approach.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

PLUS ADDITIONAL ARMED BONUS $3000!!

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and thorough observation during patrols.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols or while on duty.
• Collaborate with local authorities and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Armed designation is required for this role.
• At least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles is required.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred.
• Nevada Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
