As a Armed Security Officer - Healthcare in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter and more .

As a Patrol Officer in an unarmed capacity, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas within a shelter environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires a valid driver's license as per AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Your duties will include conducting routine patrols and maintaining visibility to support a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all individuals on the premises.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter.
• Adapt to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.

Minimum Requirements:

Must pass a Physical Fitness Test prior to getting accepted for this location

• Applicants must have an armed designation, indicating they are qualified to carry a sidearm.
• Candidates must have at least 3 years of combined experience in law enforcement, military, or security, or possess a college degree.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
• Texas Security Professional Guard Card is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
