As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. This position requires you to be armed and may involve driving responsibilities, as indicated by the requirements for an armed guard card/license and a valid driver's license. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the aerospace and defense location and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
