As a Security Guard - Unarmed Government in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Officer in a government location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will be key in maintaining a secure environment, while also providing exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires a valid driver's license as per AU Driver Policy Requirements. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to individuals by implementing procedures and site-specific policies, and when necessary, engage in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Help to deter potential incidents by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring the location.
• Communicate with team members and management to report any security-related incidents or concerns.
• Assist in maintaining a secure environment by observing and reporting any unusual activities or behaviors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
• Texas Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
