As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in providing armed patrol services at a prominent aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. This position requires you to be armed and may involve driving responsibilities. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the aerospace and defense location and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Report and document any suspicious activities, security-related breaches, or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents.
• Maintain awareness of site-specific protocols and procedures relevant to the aerospace and defense environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Level III Armed Certification for Texas is required.
• An active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
