Allied Universal Event Services ® is seeking an Event Security Operations Specialist to support and lead event security operations at a designated client location. This embedded role provides direct client support, ensuring the safety and security of employees, executives, and guests at company events, both domestically and internationally. The role requires a balance of strategic planning, operational oversight, cultural awareness, and frontline security execution.

The ideal candidate will have experience in event security, executive protection, risk mitigation, and emergency management. Strong judgment, integrity, and adaptability in high-pressure environments are essential. This position also requires the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, develop security protocols, and deliver exceptional service tailored to the client’s corporate culture.

This position is based onsite at a client location in San Francisco. The salary pay range for this position is $90,000 - $105,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end security planning process for corporate events.

  • Conduct site risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure seamless and secure event execution.

  • Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documentation aligned with client standards.

  • Provide real-time situational awareness, threat analysis, and emergency response coordination.

  • Procure and manage external security vendors as needed based on event requirements.

  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with security standards.

  • Oversee inventory and readiness of event security equipment and emergency provisions.

  • Implement and track performance metrics to guide decision-making, budgeting, and future planning.

  • Coordinate with law enforcement, venue security, and emergency services for high-risk or large-scale events.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client’s security team during events.

  • Support internal business units by aligning security initiatives with operational goals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, vendors, and community stakeholders.

  • Apply emotional intelligence and cultural awareness to tailor services to the client’s environment.

  • Respond to and manage security incidents and emergencies in accordance with policy.

  • Support business continuity and emergency management protocols.

  • Conduct post-event reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of security programs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least two years in a direct event security leadership or executive protection role
  • Must be able to travel up to 30% (domestic/international) with little notice
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management and budgeting experience
  • Prior military or law enforcement background
  • Familiarity with access control and threat management platforms
  • Experience managing vendor contracts and performance at corporate events
