As a Security Professional - Unarmed Government in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

Our team is seeking dedicated professionals to join us in a government setting, where you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas and helping to deter security-related incidents. This unarmed position requires you to remain visible and engage with the community, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $31.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime
Sat02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
Sun02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions at different locations.
  • Assist in maintaining a secure environment by being observant and reporting any unusual activities or security-related incidents.
  • Collaborate with team members and other personnel to address security-related concerns and enhance the overall security posture of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must have an Armed Designation.
  • Candidates must have a California Armed Security Professional License (CA: Armed SP Lic).
  • Applicants must have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security experience.
  • Candidates must complete Armed-Quarterly Firearms Qualification post hire.
  • Applicants must acknowledge and complete Firearms Acknowledgement post hire.
  • Candidates must complete Firearms Annual Requalification Training post hire.
  • Applicants must be proficient in the use of an armed sidearm.
  • Candidates must be proficient in the use of an armed baton.
  • Applicants must be proficient in the use of armed handcuffs.
  • Candidates must be proficient in the use of armed pepper spray.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
