Security Professional - Logistics Patrol

As a Security Professional - Logistics Patrol in White Plains, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with team members. This post requires driving as part of your duties. Pay Rate: $17.41 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the facility.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
• Document and communicate any incidents, observations, or issues to the appropriate personnel or management.
• Support emergency response activities according to site protocols and assist first responders if necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• New York Security Professional Guard Card required.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
