As a Security Professional – Armed Patrol - Afternoon Shift in Whiteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This armed post requires you to conduct routine patrols and interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible presence.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required during incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any concerns or observations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Must possess a valid North Carolina Armed Security Professional License.
  • Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License as required by state and/or local regulations.
  • North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions only.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal Security will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Must participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
