Now Hiring: Onboarding Specialist – Small Office, Wichita, KS

Starting Pay: $18.14 per hour

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and people-focused Onboarding Specialist to join our small but dynamic office in Wichita. This role is all about giving new hires the best first impression of Allied Universal by leading our New Employee Orientation (NEO) sessions.

Since this location hosts a limited number of orientations each week, the position will also include general office support duties, which will be discussed further during the interview.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Prepare for NEO sessions (welcome kits, drug test kits, laptops, etc.)

  • Lead orientation sessions and walk new hires through key information

  • Verify identification and complete I-9 documentation

  • Administer drug tests

  • Start onboarding in our applicant system (iCIMS)

  • Ensure all required digital forms (iForms) are complete

  • Enter and update new hire data in our systems (WinTeam)

  • Assist with processing rehires and direct deposit info

  • Support with day-to-day office duties when NEO is not in session

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Prior work experience in a professional administrative environment
  • Able to focus and multi-task in a busy environment
  • Ability to successfully handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Effective management skills; able to coordinate with multiple employees with diverse personalities and engage them to perform at optimum levels
  • Highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology
  • Ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree in business, human resources, or related field of study
  • Human resources and/or recruiting experience
  • Experience using iCIMS or other Applicant Tracking System
  • Experience using WinTeam or other Human Resources Information System
  • Experience using DOMO or other business intelligence tool
