As a Security Professional - Access Patrol in Winter Haven, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in access control at a leading food and beverage location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees, visitors, and vendors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and client requirements.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and management to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
