Job Description:

As a Security Guard - Retail Unarmed Patrol in Aiea, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing top-notch customer service to visitors and tenants. As this is a driving post, you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location.
• Carry out regular and random patrols throughout the mall and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Assist visitors and tenants with directions, information, and general inquiries as needed.
• Document security-related incidents and observations accurately and promptly, submitting reports as required by Allied Universal policies.
• Support emergency response activities, including evacuations or medical situations, as directed by site procedures.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unwanted behavior and promote a secure environment within the retail location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
