As a Security Officer - Commercial Site Patrol - Full Time in Auburn Hills, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be an integral part of our team serving a dynamic commercial real estate location. Your primary responsibilities will include actively monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through a strong and visible presence. You will interact with tenants, visitors, and staff, consistently delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. This role requires you to remain attentive to your surroundings, respond promptly to incidents, and assist with access control and other security-related procedures. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with property management, tenants, and visitors to address security-related inquiries and assist with site access as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities.
• Remain alert to potential security-related issues and communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and local authorities when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
