As a Security Professional - Tech Site - Full Time in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Screener within a leading technology-focused location, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and supporting access control procedures to help to deter security-related incidents. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct screening of individuals entering the location, following established protocols for access control and identification verification.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items.
  • Document and report any unusual activities, security-related concerns, or incidents according to company procedures.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and client representatives to maintain a secure environment within the technology and telecommunications location.
  • Remain alert to changes in the environment and adapt screening procedures as necessary to address evolving threats or client requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Availability across various days and shifts
  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control systems and/or badge operations is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
