As a Security Professional - Armed Correctional Site - Full Time in Bunn, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a government location. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism and composure. This position requires you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities, so an armed guard license and a valid driver's license are required. You will interact with staff, visitors, and the public, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and/or client representatives.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals at the location and responding to inquiries or requests for assistance.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential incidents and maintain a visible presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Assist with emergency response activities and communicate with appropriate authorities and Allied Universal management as required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and patrols as instructed.
• Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal protocols while performing armed duties on site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess an active armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving, subject to Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
