As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations by monitoring activity, coordinating responses, and communicating with on-site teams. Your responsibilities will include using computer systems and communication tools to help to deter incidents, manage access, and provide timely information to both staff and visitors. You will be a visible presence, delivering exceptional customer service and upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be required to operate vehicles as part of your duties. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Operate dispatch systems to monitor and coordinate security-related activities throughout the chemical and petrochemical location.
• Receive, document, and communicate information regarding incidents, emergencies, and routine operations to appropriate personnel.
• Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures, and responding to inquiries from staff and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying information to security-related teams and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all communications, incidents, and dispatch activities.
• Support Allied Universal security-related personnel by providing timely updates and instructions during routine and emergency situations.
• Assist in monitoring access control systems and surveillance equipment to help to deter unauthorized activity within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in the job state.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
