As a Security Professional - Dispatch Patrol in Carrollton, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities to help maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing communications, dispatching personnel to various areas as needed, and supporting routine patrols by maintaining constant awareness of site operations. You will utilize technology and communication tools to help to deter incidents and respond promptly to any security-related concerns. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license in the job state is required. You will also provide exceptional customer service, acting as a reliable point of contact for both team members and visitors. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Operate dispatch systems to monitor and coordinate security-related activities throughout the chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Receive and respond to calls for service, incidents, and emergencies in a calm and problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
  • Communicate with on-site personnel and mobile patrols to relay information and instructions as needed.
  • Document and report all incidents, activities, and communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
  • Assist in the implementation of emergency response activities, including coordinating with first responders and internal teams.
  • Monitor access control systems and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity within the location.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors or employees as required.
  • Support regular and random patrols by maintaining communication with patrol officers and tracking their status.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
