As a Security Officer - - Healthcare Facility - Overnight Shift in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and managing badge access to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service while responding to inquiries and assisting individuals as needed. This position requires a professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and a commitment to upholding the values of Allied Universal by acting with integrity and working collaboratively with your team. As this is a driving post, a valid driver's license is required. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the facility to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and identify any unusual activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with facility staff and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters and maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Remain alert to potential hazards or suspicious activity and take appropriate action as directed by Allied Universal policies and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
