As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at your assigned location. This position primarily involves driving patrols, where you will remain visible throughout the property, conduct routine checks, and respond to any security-related concerns. You will interact with the public and site personnel, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any security-related concerns or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and/or residents.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post; prior experience in driving roles is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
