As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment within a cultural institution setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, providing a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor for unusual activity or conditions and report findings according to site protocols.
• Maintain awareness of cultural property and artifacts, taking care to follow all site-specific protocols and procedures.
• Interact with visitors, staff, and guests in a courteous and professional manner, offering assistance as needed.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Comply with all Allied Universal and client site policies, including those related to the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
