Security Officer – Government Site Patrol - Overnight Shift

As a Security Officer – Government Site Patrol - Overnight Shift in Fallon, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in supporting a government location by conducting unarmed patrols and monitoring assigned areas. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will be responsible for routine patrols, maintaining visibility throughout the property, and assisting with access control and badge procedures as needed. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities and any incidents that occur during the shift.
• Work collaboratively with local staff and law enforcement as required.
• Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
