As a Security Professional - Retail Site in Sweetwater, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a bustling retail and mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors and tenants. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, responding to inquiries and assisting individuals as needed. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Pay Rate: $16.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as needed.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing clear communication.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behaviors.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
