As a Security Professional - Campus Patrol - Weekdays in Nampa, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment at an educational location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols across campus grounds, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding to situations as they arise. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to support a welcoming atmosphere. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, students, faculty, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter prohibited activities and provide a visible presence.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activity according to company and site guidelines.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and providing directions or information as needed.
• Work collaboratively with campus staff and local authorities when required to address security-related concerns.
• Maintain awareness of the unique environment and needs of an educational location, adapting responses as necessary.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
