As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment within a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the site, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and offering exceptional customer service through professional communication with personnel and visitors. You will assist with access control, monitor badge usage, and respond to situations as they arise, contributing to a positive and responsive atmosphere. Pay Rate: $21.26 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for any suspicious behavior or potential security-related concerns throughout the facility and report findings according to site protocols.
• Assist with controlling access to designated areas within the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel to address inquiries and provide guidance related to site protocols.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
