As a Security Officer Patrol Healthcare in Pahala, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment within a healthcare setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to observe for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.
• Document and communicate all incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and/or emergency situations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or identification of individuals entering the location as required.
• Support Allied Universal and healthcare location staff during drills, evacuations, or emergency situations by following established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
