As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will be the first point of contact for guests, visitors, and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by managing entry points, responding to inquiries, and delivering exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner at the front desk of the location.
• Monitor access to the premises by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Assist with security-related procedures and protocols, including logging visitor information and issuing visitor passes as needed.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site personnel regarding any security-related concerns or incidents.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unwanted activity.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting guests, visitors, and staff with directions or information about the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
