As a Security Professional - Logistics Patrols in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Your visible presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents and foster a sense of confidence among staff and visitors. You will be responsible for monitoring assigned areas, responding promptly to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service through clear communication and a professional demeanor. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel or management.
• Assist with access control procedures, including verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
• Communicate professionally with site staff, visitors, and/or contractors to provide assistance and support as needed.
• Remain alert to site conditions and collaborate with team members to address security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
