Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services division is seeking a results-driven, highly motivated GSOC Operator to support our client in San Francisco, CA.


The GSOC Operator supports the Global Physical Security Department and remote GSOC operations. Responsibilities include assisting with access control monitoring, credential management, video review investigations, and minor project support assigned by leadership. The GSOC Operator collaborates closely with Global Security management and a dynamic physical security team worldwide.



Schedule:

This is a full-time position on the overnight shift. Specific days and shift start/end times TBD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer service requests
  • Address door alarms as needed
  • Monitor security systems and physical infrastructure
  • Support security-related projects and investigations
  • Send mass communication messages
  • Assist remotely with emergency response situations
  • Liaise with on-site physical security teams
  • Activate and deactivate access control credentials and users
  • Troubleshoot security devices remotely
  • Monitor travelers to ensure duty of care
  • Respond to crisis management situations


As a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator, you will use open-source material to find, research, and assess information that could indicate a potential concern to the client, its employees, and its interests. You will create detailed reports of incidents using internal incident management reporting systems and assist in the response to larger incidents that impact the client and develop protocols and practices to drive efficiency and to manage crises.

The GSOC operator will help to continually identify, evaluate, and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop best in class programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

To be successful in this role applicants must possess the ability to interact with all levels of corporation management, liaison internally and externally with a multitude of other departments and personnel. Strong oral communication and representational skills are required.

  • Work in a Global Security Operations Center, analyzing threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Write security incident investigation reports to provide situational awareness and communicate risks to management.
  • Collect, evaluate, and disseminate intelligence at the GSOC level--to support action plans based on credibility and likelihood.
  • Assists in planning and execution of risk assessment projects.
  • Use open-source material to find, research, and assess information that could indicate a potential concern to the Client, their employees, and their interests.
  • Contribute to procedures and processes to standardize and enhance risk management.
  • Work closely with security officers and specialists.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferred experience with Access Control and Video Management Systems
  • Proficiency in systems such as Microsoft Teams and Outlook
  • Experience with mass communication messaging
  • Intelligence analysis skills
  • Strong professional communication with internal teams and stakeholders
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Previous GSOC or call center experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to attend training events that fall outside normal work hours.

  • Competence with MS Office Suite and other corporate enterprise software.

  • Must be willing to sign an NDA and maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

  • Must be able to disseminate information effectively and confidently to individuals, groups, peers, clients, executives, and stakeholders.

  • Must be able to quickly adapt and excel in dynamic situations.

  • Prepare written reports of incidents in the proper format and with correct grammar and spelling.

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks:

$26-29 hourly pay rate is based on experience, training and other related qualifications.
