As a Security Officer - - Commercial Real Estate Patrol - Part Time in Ramsey, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate environment, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere. Your presence and regular patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service to everyone on site. You will interact with visitors and tenants, address inquiries, and respond to situations as they arise, always demonstrating professionalism and strong communication skills. This is a driving position, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the property to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Communicate professionally with property staff, visitors, and tenants to address questions and/or concerns related to security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
