As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and patients, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and assisting guests with directions or information, all while maintaining a high level of customer service. You will help to deter security-related incidents by remaining attentive and approachable at your post, responding promptly to inquiries, and communicating clearly with both the public and your team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with people and thrive in a dynamic, service-oriented setting. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a healthcare location.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify identification and credentials, and assist with visitor registration as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences as directed by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, clients, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
• Support emergency response activities and help to deter unauthorized access or inappropriate behavior in the lobby and entry areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent such as a GED.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
