As a Security Officer - Government Site - Multiple Shifts in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include monitoring security-related systems, coordinating communication between security teams, and responding promptly to incidents or requests for assistance. You will conduct routine checks, remain highly visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service through clear and professional communication. This role requires you to be organized, attentive, and ready to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and coordinate communications for incidents and requests at the location, maintaining accurate logs and records of all radio and telephone transmissions.
• Dispatch security-related personnel to specific areas as required, based on incoming calls and site needs.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting staff and visitors in a professional manner.
• Alert appropriate personnel and/or emergency services in response to critical situations or alarms, following established protocols.
• Support Allied Universal team members by relaying information and updates as incidents develop.
• Conduct regular checks of communication equipment to help maintain operational readiness.
• Assist in documenting incident reports and maintaining site-specific procedures as directed by management.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
