As a Security Officer - Access Control - Multiple Shifts in Russellville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility to help deter security-related incidents. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents and/or emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as required during critical situations.
• Support the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter potential risks within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience or at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience, or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
