As a Security Professional - Retail Location - Afternoon Shift in Salisbury, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment at a dynamic retail location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to visitors and staff. You will be instrumental in responding to situations as they arise, offering support and clear communication to everyone on site. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Assist in helping to deter unwanted activity by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Observe and report security-related concerns or suspicious behavior within the retail environment to management and/or law enforcement as necessary.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or customers by providing information and directions as needed during patrols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
